Professional foresters, landowners, nurseries and seed suppliers are invited to apply for a share of £2.8 million in funding to boost domestic trees and seed production.
The funding is made available through the latest rounds of the:
· Seed Sourcing Grant Fund - to improve the quantity, quality, and diversity of England's seed supply, and support green jobs
· Tree Production Capital Grants Fund - to build nursery capacity and grow trees and seeds supply chains for the long-term
The funding is made available by the Forestry Commission which will accept applications from any UK-based public, private, or third sector organisation.
The closing date for applications for Seed Sourcing Grants is the 13th February 2024.
The closing date for applications for Tree Production Capital Grants is the 30th January 2024.
