Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance are excited to announce that our first Volunteer Co-Ordinators Network will be held on:

Venue: 17 nineteen, Holy Trinity Church, Church St East, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, SR1 2BB
This network is for anyone who recruits, co-ordinates or supports volunteers in Sunderland.
The Volunteer Co-ordinators Network is a platform for:
• Addressing key issues that affect the sector
• Networking and offering peer support
• Discussing new ideas and initiatives
• Sharing best practices and information
• Learning about other groups
• Discussing trends in volunteering
• Reviewing training opportunities and requirements
Each network event will concentrate on a new topic depending on what has been requested by the sector. Some topics may include:
• Recruitment and retention of volunteers
• Overcoming barriers to volunteering
• Corporate volunteering
• Recognising Volunteers
• Volunteers and the law
