Brims is offering a FREE bid writing workshop for members of the Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance. Workshop Overview: The session aims to support organisations in bidding or tendering for funding, offering best practices for successful tender submissions. Learning Outcomes: Participants will gain greater confidence in submitting future funding proposals.

Trusteeship - the roles and responsibilities of your board of trustees | This webinar will provide a refresher on the role of trustees and how to nurture a supportive and dynamic relationship. A great partnership between a CEO and Chair is essential for a successful organisation. This session as part of Trustees' Week 2024, will go beyond the Chair-CEO relationship and consider the CEO's partnership with the board as a whole. Sometimes roles and responsibilities can become blurred and perhaps trustees are seeking more opportunities to contribute their time and skills. This session will explore best practice and top tips to refresh your working partnership with your board and ensure that you are supported and valued in your role. It will propose a collaborative matching service to connect organisations with compatible partners, identify funding opportunities, and provide support with bid writing for joint projects. The workshop will also explore approaches for diversifying income streams beyond traditional grants, fostering long-term financial resilience.
