Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance are trialling 'Funding Surgeries', starting Tuesday 20th of February. If your organisation is considering applying for funding to a charitable trust, the National Lottery, a local or government grant scheme and want to talk it through before committing pen to paper or you have already started but are stuck or indeed if you want to run your application passed fresh but experienced eyes, this might be exactly what you need.
Our first surgery will be taken by our new volunteer, Kevin Parnacott who was, until his very recent retirement, a Regional Manager at the National Lottery Community Fund. Kevin has worked in the field, supporting and assessing applications, across most of the award schemes, in the northeast and midlands.
Kevin has a wealth of knowledge in grant making and experience in the VSCE sector. The Alliance is honoured and delighted to have Kevin on board. If you have any queries about funding, don't delay.
