Youth Work Apprenticeship

The University of Sunderland are supporting local voluntary organisations upskill employees to use and develop practice in the workplace and learn off the job in order to graduate and qualify as a professional (JNC) youth worker.

The course is FULLY FUNDED via the apprenticeship route, either through an employer levy or Natwest gifted levy.

As a new apprenticeship the wording/ terminology of apprenticeships and apprenticeship funding can be quite daunting to employers who have not yet utilised apprenticeships. The University of Sunderland want to support local organisations to access the funding easily and have set up a webinar to talk through the process, give clarity on the terminology and answer any questions.

If any of the organisations you support would like to attend this FREE session, please see the link here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/navigating-funded-training-in-community-and-youth-work-tickets-901317283257

More information on the programme itself can be found on our website - https://www.sunderland.ac.uk/study/higher-and-degree-apprenticeships/community-youth-work/
