Phil is senior pastor of Hope Vineyard church in the East End of Sunderland.
Phil has spent 25 years working in the voluntary and charity sector, initially in youth work and more recently as an operations director fornational homelessness charity Oasis Housing.
Phil is passionate about the role of the voluntary sector in community transformation and believes that for too long we've been held at arms length to pick up the pieces of systemic injustice.
Phil joined the operations board as he feels strongly that alliances of ethos and strength in number offer the greatest opportunity to see lasting change occur in the communities across Sunderland. Phil is particularly committed to role of churches and faith groups in the alliance.
