Asda Foundation Re-opens Several of its Grant Making Programmes

The Asda Foundation, which supports local communities through initiatives like children's welfare, local empowerment, and economic relief, has reopened several of its grant programmes for applications.

The Under 18 Better Starts Grant provides up to £2,000 for community groups working on initiatives that focus on the inclusion, poverty reduction, and well-being of young people.

The Empowering Local Communities Grant is aimed at grassroots organisations striving to improve community life by bringing people together and improving local amenities. Additionally, the Cost of Living Grant offers financial assistance ranging from £400 to £2,000 for projects that address the immediate challenges caused by rising living costs, helping to provide essential services such as food provisions and utility bill aid.

The deadline for applications is the 8th November 2024.

Applicants must contact the Community and Customer Champion at their local Asda store to discuss funding needs. Applications require the endorsement of an Asda Community and Customer Champion, who are based in Asda's largest stores throughout the UK.
