BBC Children in Need Launches Programme to Support Underserved Young People

BBC Children in Need has launched a new funding initiative to support under-served and marginalised children and young people across the UK.

The Pudsey Next Steps programme offers grants of £1,000 to £15,000 per year for up to three years, to not-for-profit organisations working with children and young people under 18 facing challenges such as poverty, discrimination, and exclusion.

This includes those who are care-experienced, disabled, or from minoritised ethnic communities. The programme aims to empower young people by building their skills, resilience, and opportunities.

Eligible organisations must have an annual income of £100,000 or less and have not previously received funding from BBC Children in Need.

Funding will be allocated based on local needs and priorities.

Expressions of interest close on the 16th October 2024
