The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust is now accepting applications to round two of the Apart, not Alone programme for projects starting in late spring 2026.
The funding is for projects that are focused on supporting serving families (including reservists) impacted by service-related separation, for example deployment, weekending, or military exercises.
Projects will need to address one or more of the following outcomes:
- Families feel more able to manage the impact of loneliness or isolation during periods of separation.
- Families experience fewer challenges during reintegration after deployment or extended separation.
- Improved mental health and wellbeing for serving families.
- Improved understanding of effective models of support for serving families.
UK registered charities and Community Interest Companies (CICs) with substantial recent experience of supporting Armed Forces communities as well as Armed Forces units or bases can apply for the following grants:
- Grants of up to £25,000 are available for a project being delivered over a period of up to 12 months.
- Charities and CICs registered in the UK for a least three years can apply for grants of up to £50,000 for projects lasting up to two years.
The grant can pay for most of the things needed for the project or activity, including people's time, costs of delivering work online or buying/hiring equipment.
The deadline for applications is 21 January 2026 (12 noon) for a decision before the end of March 2026.
