The Clothworkers' Foundation improves the lives of people and communities - particularly those facing disadvantage and marginalisation - through grant making. The Foundation was set up in 1977 to be the primary vehicle of charitable giving for The Clothworkers' Company. This session will provide information on the funds they have currently available, how to apply and there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions

The Clothworkers' Foundation (Open Grants Programme):
- Focus: Capital funding (not running costs) for UK charities and social enterprises.
- What they fund: Buildings/refurbishment, fixtures & equipment, digital infrastructure, and vehicles.
- What they don't fund: Salaries, overheads, consumables, one-off events, or retrospective costs.
- Eligible organisations: UK-registered charities, CICs without share capital, Community Benefit Societies.
- Turnover under £10m for large grants, under £2m for small grants.
- Priority groups: Organisations supporting disadvantaged people (e.g. disability, homelessness, abuse survivors, young people, older people, racial inequalities, addiction recovery, prison rehabilitation, LGBT+ disadvantage).
- Approach: Preference for projects with lived experience involvement and that create significant, lasting impact.
