Lindsey joined Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance in July 2023 as Investment and Commissioning Manager. Having worked in sales and events teams in the North East Business sector for 10 years Lindsey left to start a family and to re direct her career. Lindsey entered the voluntary sector world by working at Age UK Sunderland where she has honed her Project Management, Business Development and investment, Leadership and Community Engagement Skills.
Lindsey joins us from VONNE (Voluntary Sector Organisations' North East) which saw her working with local authorities across the North East and North Cumbria region supporting community asset based approaches in tackling health inequalities. Project managing the regional Health Champion Programme gave Lindsey the tools to develop her career further and realise where her passions and strengths lie.
'I have lived in Sunderland my whole life, and I am extremely excited to be given the opportunity to support Sunderland VCSE sector bringing investment, collaboration and development opportunities into our City. Having worked in the voluntary sector now for nearly 8 years I am delighted to be part of SVSA at this exciting time.'
