Tracy brings to the Alliance over 30 years' experience of working in the public and voluntary sector. She started her career with Sunderland local authority working with partner agencies to support vulnerable children and families. Tracy has extensive experience leading and developing multi-agency teams and partnerships to develop shared goals to achieve outstanding results. Over the years she has been a member on many local committees and governing boards supporting the development and sustainability of local organisations.
Tracy has been in senior leadership for almost 20 years managing staff, leading quality and compliance, overseeing contract management, and commissioning services to achieve positive outcomes for service users. Before moving to the Alliance Tracy was Senior Operations Manager for Age UK Sunderland and spent nearly 5 years developing and delivering services for older people across the city.
Tracy is passionate about meaningful consultation and involving local people in decision making processes to ensure neighbourhoods are developed to meet identified needs. She believes the voluntary sector are best placed to deliver high quality community services to improve outcomes for residents across the city of Sunderland. Tracy will ensure the sector is recognised by all City Partners for its outstanding contribution to growing community resilience.
Tracy holds a National Professional Qualification in Leadership (NPQICL)
