Jenny joined the Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance in January, 2024 as a Voluntary Sector Development Worker. She joins us, after working for the past seven years for a National Humanitarian Organisation. Her key role was to support individuals and communities prepare for, deal with and recover from a crisis, across the North East Region. Jenny worked during that time, as an Emergency Response Officer, Home from Hospital Service Worker during the covid 19 pandemic, and as a Transformation Officer on local, regional and national projects.
Before this role, Jenny worked for nearly thirty years for a number of Statutory Authorities in varying roles across the North East supporting public services. She is looking forward to focusing on supporting the people of Sunderland District in her role as a Voluntary Development Worker for the Sunderland and Voluntary Sector Alliance.
