In February and March 2022, the Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance hosted five consultations in the local areas asking views and opinions on the future of the Alliance, and asked for comments on how the new independent organisation should be shaped/formed.
77 individuals from the Voluntary Community Sector (VCS) network participated in the workshops and provided some fantastic viewpoints, asked some valid questions, and shared some great examples of potential models.
As a result of these workshops, it was decided to proceed with a further consultation exercise to discuss business models options for the Alliance.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the workshops, your feedback is important and valuable and will help us to make the Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance the best it can be to serve the VCS of Sunderland.
