Richy has over 30 years experience working in the youth & community sector across Sunderland and the North East as both a face-to-face worker and project manager.
He has delivered a wide range of provision, including generic youth work, issue-based information and training, detected & outreach Youth work activities, and has also delivered a wide range of physical activities, including football, boxing, cycling and outdoor adventure activities.
Richy has a degree in both Youth & Community work and Business Management and has a wealth of knowledge around the voluntary community sector.
In the past he has been a board member of Back on the Map, Voluntary sector Youth Forum, Hendon 2000, Sunderland Youth Detached Forum as well as various other like-minded organisations. He has represented the voluntary sector at both regional and national level, and is currently the Sunderland North Area VCS rep for the city.
Richy is passionate about his city, and wants to see the people of Sunderland thrive in the 21'st century.
