Wendy has been a resident of Sunderland all her life and has worked in the Voluntary Sector for more than 22 years in a variety of different roles and has held a Senior Leadership position for more than 13 years.
Wendy has been a VCS representative for the Coalfield area for 8 years and worked at Community Opportunities, formerly Sunderland North Community Business Centre for 16 years supporting and working with a number of community groups in the Coalfield, North, Washington and West locality areas before joining Active Families North East CIC as Business and Community Manager in January 2024.
Wendy has been involved with the SVSA from the start of its journey and her skills and knowledge within the sector and locality areas will support the SVSA to build the reputation it deserves by being part of it's ongoing development.
