Introduction to Domestic Retrofit and Energy Efficiency

Introductory, one-day training courses

• Thursday 30 January, venue TBC (North of Tyne)
• Thursday 6 February, online

Limited capacity. To request your free place, please register by the Monday prior to the course you want to attend.
This course is designed for community organisations, volunteers and others who wish to advise people they support about improving the energy efficiency of their homes to reduce costs and carbon use.

Course contents 

The training will enable you to provide basic advice within your local community.
On completion, you will have gained:
• an understanding of the types of retrofit technologies
available to households
• knowledge of the benefits of energy efficiency measures
for households and the environment
• information on current grants and funding available to
eligible households
• access to referral routes for households to receive expert
support and advice

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the course.
This bespoke course will be provided by Education Partnership North East, a leading adult education provider rated Outstanding by OFSTED.
