This workshop will introduce and explore the following topics on trauma:
What is trauma?
What is the impact of trauma on brain development and the nervous system?
What is the impact on a person's perception of the world and relationships?
What is the impact on a person's functioning?
The corrective function of secure attachment demonstrated through loving, caring, consistent tolerance and
creating strong emotional bonds.
This training is suitable for all professions working with those who may be affected by trauma. Including teachers, social workers, counsellors, support workers etc.
6hrs CPD certificate of attendance will be awarded.
