Delivery Partner Sought for £750,000 Youth Services Pilot in England

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport is seeking a delivery partner for a £750,000 pilot aimed at supporting 10 to 12 local authorities in England to improve youth services provision.

The Local Youth Transformation (LYT) Pilot aims to help local authorities rebuild a high-quality youth offer and transition back to locally led youth service delivery. Selected authorities will represent a range of geographical contexts and service delivery models.

Eligible applicants must be registered private companies or VCSE organisations and must deliver the project on a not-for-profit basis. They should demonstrate experience in programme management, the youth sector and working with local authorities. Capacity to support delivery across England and incorporate youth voice is required.

The total funding covers all activities, with up to 6% available for administration. Expenditure may include staff costs, travel, marketing, resource production and training. Applications can be made by individual organisations or in partnership through joint arrangements or consortia.

The deadline for applications is 7 May 2025 (23:59).
