GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), in partnership with the King's Fund, is offering core funding and training for health charities across the UK.
Two funding programmes are available:
The 2026 GSK IMPACT Awards:
· recognises and rewards community-based charities making a significant impact on people's health and wellbeing
· up to 15 awards will be made, ranging from £4,000 to £50,000, plus training and development valued at a further £13,500
· eligible charities must be at least three years old, and have an annual income between £150,000 and £3 million
· applications close on the 20th August 2025
The GSK Community Health Programme:
· offers funding to smaller charities working to address health inequalities within their communities
· up to 10 charities will receive up to £10,000 in unrestricted funding, plus access to an online leadership programme valued at £5,000
· eligible charities must be at least one year old have an annual income between £20,000 and £150,000
· applications close on the 11th August 2025
The type of projects funded through the Community Health programme in the past have included:
· Mental health support (e.g., youth or postpartum psychosis charities, organisations supporting survivors of abuse)
· Sexual health services targeting specific demographics (e.g., youth clinics)
· Support for chronic conditions (HIV services, substance misuse, cancer, etc.)
· Health inequality reduction in underserved communities (e.g., ethnic minorities, refugees, low-income areas
Applications are encouraged from organisations that are led-by and for people from under-represented backgrounds, people from ethnic minority communities, people with disabilities and people from the LGBTQ+ community.
