Age UK Sunderland and the Ageing Well Ambassadors have teamed up to deliver free, impactful training!

Our free Ageism and Dementia Awareness training equips volunteers, carers, community workers, and non-healthcare professionals with essential skills to recognise early signs of dementia, challenge ageist stereotypes, and provide effective support.

Through interactive workshops and real-world scenarios, you'll gain practical tools to help those in need and connect them with local services.

Join us for a comprehensive training experience that not only raises awareness but empowers you to make a difference in your community.

The Ageism and Dementia Awareness Training covers key topics such as:
