Introduction to AI

With support from Microsoft, Charity Excellence Learning launches today.  It will equip anyone from any non profit with the AI skills they need to use it effectively and to keep themselves and their non profit safe.  It will also support individuals in achieving their career aspirations by training them in the key skills they will need and it'll enable those who won't use AI, to keep themself and others safe from the very unpleasant people who would love them to remain unaware.

You don't need any AI knowledge, you work at you own pace through bite size practical lessons, each course lasts about 45 mins and is certificated.  I know how busy you are and that you don't have time for things that don't make a difference to you. You can start knowing nothing and, as each course connects you to other relevant but more advanced AI training, you can take it as far as you wish to.  There are demo videos, and you can download checklists to use.  And it's all completely free.

The first course has been published - An Introduction to AI. With Excel, Outlook etc you need to know how to use it, whereas with AI, you can just chat to it.  But just like chatting to a human, you need to understand what they can and can't do to get the most out of your conversation and, for trustees and management, you need to understand that too. That's what this course does.

Next week, getting started using AI, with another new course each week. You can get started with An Introduction to AI right now and also pre-order all the others by visiting the Charity Excellence Learning web site and to find out all about the programme our AI training hub on the existing website.
